Instructions
 

  • 1 cup salt in gallon jug of cup up cucumber. Let set for 3 days. Drain and rinse
  • 3 times. Fill to top with water and 2 tablespoons of alum and set for 24 hours.
  • Rinse 3 times.
  • Cover with vinegar and let set for seven days. Drain. Add two teaspoon
  • spices, 3 cups sugar and let set for 2 more days. Add 3 cups sugar.
