One Crust Pie
Instructions
- Roll pastry 2 inches beyond edge of inverted pan. Ease into pan. Trim to 1
- inch from edge. Make edge by folding pastry under. Flute with pinch and
- twist of fingers.
- Prick pastry thoroughly to prevent puffing while baking. No foil is needed
- around edge because the single crust bakes in so short of time.
- Bake for 8 to 10 minutes at 450 degrees. Fill with cream, chiffon, meringue
- or refrigerated filling.
