Instructions
 

  • Roll pastry 2 inches beyond edge of inverted pan. Ease into pan. Trim to 1
  • inch from edge. Make edge by folding pastry under. Flute with pinch and
  • twist of fingers.
  • Prick pastry thoroughly to prevent puffing while baking. No foil is needed
  • around edge because the single crust bakes in so short of time.
  • Bake for 8 to 10 minutes at 450 degrees. Fill with cream, chiffon, meringue
  • or refrigerated filling.
