Chess Pie
Ingredients
- 1 unbaked pie crust
- 2 cup. Sugar
- 2/3 c. butter
- 1 heaping t. flour
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup cream
Instructions
- Mix the flour and sugar thoroughly; add butter and beat until light. Add
- cream and eggs (beaten separately), sprinkle top with grated nutmeg.
- Pour into a pastry lined pie shell and bake at 450 degrees for 15 min-
- utes. Reduce heat to 350 and bake 25 - 30 or until firm.
