Fudge
Ingredients
- 2 cups sugar
- 3 - 1-oz. squares unsweetened chocolate
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup evaporated milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 T. butter
- 3 large marshmallows
- 1/2 cup pecans
Instructions
- Butter sides of heavy, 2 quart saucepan. Add first 5 ingredients and stir well over
- low heat until melted. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Cook on low without
- stirring until it reaches soft ball (235 degrees) about 10 - 15 minutes.
- Remove and let stand until luke warm. Stir in remaining ingredient and beat vig-
- orously until mixture begin to lose its gloss and mounds when dropped from
- spoon. Pour into butter 8 inch square pan.
- Cool and cut into squares.
