Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3 - 1-oz. squares unsweetened chocolate
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup evaporated milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 T. butter
  • 3 large marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup pecans

Instructions
 

  • Butter sides of heavy, 2 quart saucepan. Add first 5 ingredients and stir well over
  • low heat until melted. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Cook on low without
  • stirring until it reaches soft ball (235 degrees) about 10 - 15 minutes.
  • Remove and let stand until luke warm. Stir in remaining ingredient and beat vig-
  • orously until mixture begin to lose its gloss and mounds when dropped from
  • spoon. Pour into butter 8 inch square pan.
  • Cool and cut into squares.
