Mound Cake #3
Ingredients
CAKE:
- 1 box German chocolate cake mix
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup Crisco oil
- 1 cup water
FILLING BETWEEN LAYERS:
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 23 large marshmallows
- 1 lb coconut
ICING:
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 3 T. cocoa
- 3 T corn syrup
- 1 stick margarine
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients and put in 3 round cake pans.
- Bake as instructed.
FILLING BETWEEN LAYERS:
- Boil milk and sugar for 1 minute.
- Add marshmallows, stir until smooth and melted.
- Add coconut.
- Cool and spread between layers.
ICING:
- Cook until done and whip before frosting cake.
