Creamy Golden Frosting

Ingredients
  

  • 4 T. butter
  • 2 T. water
  • 1/8 t. salt if unsalted butter is used
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 3 cups sifted powdered sugar
  • 1/4 t. lemon extract

Instructions
 

  • Over low heat melt butter with the water. Remove from heat (add salt if needed).
  • Mix in the 2 unbeaten egg yolks, lemon extract. Mix well. Mix in sugar, 1 cup
