Combine in 2 quart saucepan, pudding mix and sugar, stir in milk. Add butter.

Cook and stir over medium heat until it comes to a boil. Lower heat and boil

gently for 3 minutes stirring constantly. Remove. Stir in peanuts and vanilla.

Beat until thick but glossy. Drop on wax paper to harden.
