In a large bowl combine yogurt, curry powder, salt, onion and garlic powders
and
sugar. Stir until blended. Add chicken; turn to coat completely. Cover and
refrigerate for 1 - 2 hours. Place chicken on a rack over slow burning coals.
Grill until cooked through, about 45 minutes, turning often and brushing occa-
sionally with marinade. Or, place chicken, skin side up, in a single layer in a
baking
pan.
Pour remaining sauce evenly over chicken. Bake uncovered, in a
preheated 350 degree oven until chicken is cooked through, about 45 minutes.
