Shirley's Fool-Proof Cobbler
This cobbler is quick and easy and totally fool proof. You can use any fruit you want, my favorite is blackberry! Of coarse add a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top!
Ingredients
- 1 cup self-rising flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 2/3 cup milk
- 1 stick butter
- 2 1/2 cups fruit with some juice
Instructions
- Melt 1/4 lb butter in 9 X 13 baking dish
- Mix flour, sugar and milk together in separate bowl, pour over melted butter. DO NOT STIR
- Gently place fruit with juice on top of batter, again, DO NOT STIR
- Bake in 350 degree oven for 30 - 40 minutes.
