Creamy Golden Frosting
Ingredients
- 4 T. butter
- 2 T. water
- 1/8 t. salt if unsalted butter is used
- 2 egg yolks
- 3 cups sifted powdered sugar
- 1/4 t. lemon extract
Instructions
- Over low heat melt butter with the water. Remove from heat (add salt if needed).
- Mix in the 2 unbeaten egg yolks, lemon extract. Mix well. Mix in sugar, 1 cup

- a time. Beat until smooth.
