Basic No Cook White Frosting

Ingredients
  

  • 6 T. butter
  • Pinch salt
  • 1 lb. Box Confectionery sugar
  • 2 t. vanilla extract
  • 5 T. milk

Instructions
 

  • Have butter at room temperature and cream well. Add salt and a bit of the
  • sugar, work in well. Add vanilla, more sugar, some of the milk. Add rest of
  • sugar and milk alternately, in small proportions, mixing thoroughly. Frosts 2 - 8
  • inch cake layers.
