Chocolate Pound Cake
Ingredients
- from Martha Stewart
- 2 sticks butter
- 5 eggs
- 1/2 cup shortening
- pinch salt
- 3 cups sugar
- 1/2 t. baking powder
- 3 cup plain flour
- 1 1/4 cup sweet milk
- 1/2 cup cocoa
- 1 t. vanilla
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients well. Bake in tube pan at 325 degrees for one hour and 15
- minutes.
- GLAZE: Water, 1/2 stick butter, vanilla, confectionery sugar.
