Strawberry Pecan Cake

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cake mix
  • 3 oz. Package strawberry Jell-O
  • 2/3 cup oil
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup strawberries frozen
  • 1/2 cup coconut
  • 1/2 cup pecans

Instructions
 

  • Combine cake mix and Jell-O. Add oil and milk, mix well. Add eggs, one

  • time beating well after each. Stir in frozen strawberries, coconut and pecans.
  • Bake in 3 greased 8 inch cake pans at 350 degrees for 20-25 - minutes.
  • Cool.

FROSTING:

  • 1 stick oleo, softened
  • 16 oz. Powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup coconut
  • Cream oleo and sugar. Add strawberries, pecans and coconut. Mix
  • well
  • and
  • spread between layers and on top.
