Ingredients
  

  • Place in order in the pan to the bread machine making sure the paddles are in place.
  • 1 1/2 cups hot water
  • 1/2 cup oil 1/3 cup if you use egg
  • 1/4 - 1/2 cup honey
  • 4 1/2 cup freshly milled flour
  • 2 t. Salt.
  • 2 T. Lecithin optional
  • 1 t. Gluten optional
  • 1 egg optional

Instructions
 

Make a small well in the middle of the flour and place:

  • 1 T. Yeast (or 1 small pack)
  • Bake on the desired setting.
  • The Zojirushi Bread Machine has a Homemade setting which allows you to alter the
  • settings to suit your taste. I found the factory settings baked too long making the
  • crust very dark and the bread dry.

My settings are:

  • Preheat
  • 18 min.
  • Knead
  • 20 min.
  • Rise 1
  • 45 min.
  • *Rise 2
  • 20 min. To 50 min. (This will vary depending on your kitchen's
  • temperature, etc. Start at 50 minutes; If your bread falls, reduce the 2nd rise time a
  • little more)
  • Rise 3
  • off
  • Bake
  • 36 min.
  • Keep warm
  • off
  • Completion time is 2 hrs and 45 min.
  • **My machine does this loaf well on setting 2 (for a 1.5 - 2 lb. Loaf - medium
  • crust) the total time is 2 hours 50 minutes.
