Raisin Carrot apple Bread
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup shortening
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 t. grated lemon peel
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup seedless raisins
- 1 1/2 cup coarsely grated apple
- 1/2 cup coarsely grated carrot
- 2 cup sifted flour
- 1 t. baking powder
- 1 t. soda
- 1 t. salt
Instructions
- Cream shortening, sugar and lemon peel together until fluffy. Beat in eggs, one at
- a time. Add raisins, apple and carrot. Sift flour with baking powder, soda and
- salt into raisin mixture. Stir until blended. Turn into greased and floured
- loaf
- pan.
- Bake in 325 degree oven for about 1 hour.
