  • Wash pepper and dry. Cut out stem and seeds. Cut in strips with scissors.
  • Scald well. Drop in ice water to crisp. Drain. Put pepper in jars. Cover with
  • hot syrup of 1 cup sugar to 2 cups vinegar. Seal.
