Pumpkin Bars

Ingredients
  

Bars

  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 t. baking powder
  • 1 t. baking soda
  • 1 t. cinnamon
  • 1 t. nutmeg
  • 1/2 t. salt
  • 1/2 t. cloves
  • 1 cup oil
  • 16 oz. Can pumpkin
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/3 cup chopped nuts
  • 1/2 cup raisins

Frosting

  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 3 oz cream cheese
  • 1 Tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Instructions
 

Bars

  • Heat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Grease 13 X 9 inch baking pan.
  • Combine all bar ingredients except nuts and raisins; beat at low speed until moistened.
  • Beat 2 minutes at medium speed.
  • Stir in nuts and raisins.
  • Pour into greased pan.
  • Bake for 45-50 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  • Cool completely.

Frosting

  • Combine all ingredients; beat until smooth.
  • Frost pumpkin bars when cooled.
  • Cut into bars.
  • Store in refrigerator.
