Pumpkin Bars
Ingredients
Bars
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 t. baking powder
- 1 t. baking soda
- 1 t. cinnamon
- 1 t. nutmeg
- 1/2 t. salt
- 1/2 t. cloves
- 1 cup oil
- 16 oz. Can pumpkin
- 4 eggs
- 1/3 cup chopped nuts
- 1/2 cup raisins
Frosting
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1/3 cup butter
- 3 oz cream cheese
- 1 Tbsp milk
- 1 tsp vanilla
Instructions
Bars
- Heat oven to 350 degrees.
- Grease 13 X 9 inch baking pan.
- Combine all bar ingredients except nuts and raisins; beat at low speed until moistened.
- Beat 2 minutes at medium speed.
- Stir in nuts and raisins.
- Pour into greased pan.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
- Cool completely.
Frosting
- Combine all ingredients; beat until smooth.
- Frost pumpkin bars when cooled.
- Cut into bars.
- Store in refrigerator.
