Graham Cracker Bars
Ingredients
BARS:
- 30 whole graham crackers
- 2 sticks margarine
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup evaporated milk
- 1 egg beaten
- 1 1/2 cups coconut
- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 1 cup pecan chopped
FROSTING:
- 1 stick margarine
- 4 T Cream or Evaporated Milk
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 t vanilla
Instructions
BARS:
- Combine in saucepan, egg, sugar, milk and margarine.
- Cook on low heat until it boils, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat.
- Add coconut, nuts and graham cracker crumbs.
- Spread over crackers in pan.
- Cover quickly with remaining crackers and press into filling.
- Frost crackers.
- Refrigerate for 24 hours.
FROSTING:
- Mix all ingredients well.
