Sour Cream Cake
Ingredients
- 1 cup shortening
- 3 cup sugar
- 3 cup cake flour or plain
- 8 eggs
- 1/2 t. soda
- 1 t. vanilla
- 8 oz. Sour cream
Instructions
- Cream shortening and sugar, add egg yolks, then add flour and soda, sour cream
- alternately. Add vanilla, beat egg whites until stiff. Fold in egg whites. Put in
- well greased tube pan. Bake at 300-325 - degree oven for 1 hour and 20 min-
- utes.
