Apple Sauce Cake
Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 cups flour
- 1 t. soda
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 3/4 t. salt
- 1 cup sweetened apples
- 1 cup pecans broken
- 1 cup raisins chopped
- 1 t. cinnamon
- 1/2 t. ground cloves
Instructions
- Cream shortening and sugar. Add beaten egg and mix well. Sift soda, flour and
- spices together., add apples and mix well. Add raisins, nuts and beat well again.
- Bake for 1 hour in a 350 degree oven.
